But then I think about the servicemen and women overseas who often can email their families or even sometimes telephone them. My father was in the Korean War when I was little and he said one of the problems with his troops was that they'd get a letter, say "The baby is sick" and then worry and worry, maybe three weeks later the letter written the following day that said baby was fine would finally arrive.
